hello everyone, this is my first article since 2014, I am happy to be back again what I love to talk about none other than "cricket'.In recent years Sri Lankan cricket team has been struggling due to lack of quality of players, inexperienced and team selections.well, mighty west indies couldn't do, Imran khan world cup winning team couldn't do and Virat Kohli's Indian team couldn't do impossible dream Sri Lankan young chaps has done it in highest level possible.  winning away test series always gonna be a  challengable but winning against a team like South Africa even difficult. how did this young team manage to beat the South African team? two pacemen who has played less than 4-5 test matches, young debut spinner and debut no 03 batsmen. it was to do with balance, experience top order, mixed middle order and bowling line up suited the track especially the young Abuldeniya. experienced Suranga Lakmal always reliable he has been fantastic reason series, Sri Lanka hasn't produced a left arm fast bowler since Chaminda Vaas do we have what we been looking for some pace and movements??  I think we do, Vishwa has been very consistent with his performance hopefully he will play in the one days and world cup. Now the hero of the first game of the series Kusal Janith Perera well known as KJP or podi sana he has been opening batmans for Sri Lanka in shorter formate of the game or no 3 not so much in the test but his batting style definitely helped in the series who likes pull and cut the ball often, his inning 153 not out has been recognised as the best test inning ever in the golden willow build on the Wisden 100, it was a brilliant inning with no 9 how brave that fight and patient. mendis and oshada fenando in 2 test 2 innings were amazing how they played without throwing their wickets. well, it was bowlers who did very well throughout the whole series so definitely credit goes to all the bowlers, especially de Silva when abuldeniya injured himself de proved his self taking that ball doing what he good at. well, that's about it. good luck hopefully will back with

Kumar Sangakkara passes runs milestone

i'm ready to talk about one of the finest batsman in the world,he is Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara became the 11th cricketer to pass 10,000 career Test runs on the opening day of the second Test against Australia in Melbourne. Sangakkara, who has an average of more than 55 runs, has reached the 10,000-run mark in 195 innings during a career spanning 115 Tests. The only other Sri Lankan to have made more than 10,000 Test runs is Mahela Jayawardene who has 10,674 runs after being dismissed for three on Wednesday. Sangakkara finished the day as Sri Lanka's wicketkeeper after Prasanna Jayawardene injured his right thumb while batting and tests later revealed he had a hairline fracture.
